    HyperD 300 question

Forgive the potentially dumb question, but I ordered some HyperD 300 to use for tarp tie out reinforcement. It appears to have a "right side" and "wrong side," but I'm not sure which is which. How can I tell which side should face out?

The plasticy shinier side should face inward. The more textured side should face out. Does that make sense?

Does the side really matter for a tie out reinforcment?

The coated side is the plasticy side, to avoid losing the coating from abrasion it should face the inside. Although for tarp reinforcements I reckon it'll be fine either way. Use it whichever side looks best to you.

What are your initial thoughts on the material? I have some on the way right now that I'm planning to use as a bathtub floor for a tent.

I think it will be really fantastic for that purpose. It seems really tough, and it has been quite easy to work with so far.
