yeah buddy, just purchased an 11.5ft double hammock so il have mine to myself next weekend while camping me the wife and both kiddo's all have one now, mines the only one that has a net as im the only one who camps in theirs lol.
Are these hammocks worth the $$. I would pick some up but dont want something that will fall apart.
Thanks! got a kit (hammock + tarp) for the wife.
WoW....good deals....
That depends on what you are looking for. The quality of construction on mine isn't as good as my old ENO DN or any of the hammocks I have from cottage vendors like Dutchwaregear.com or Wildernesslogics.com but I also wouldn't say it will fall apart after only a few uses. I think the Yukon Outfitters on sale aren't a terrible way to go but their listed lengths are way off, I think they include the countinuous loops on the end of the hammocks as part of the listed length. My 11.5' Yukon Double measures closer to 9'10" of actual fabric. It is, however, plenty wide if that is what you want. I think these are a great value (at the sale price) for kids or shorter people, especially the hammocks with integrated bug nets. Having said that, I'd rather spend a few bucks more on a hammock from Dutchwaregear.com or BIAS. You'll get a better hammock for only slightly more money. I'll only ever use my Yukon hammock as a beater around the yard or to let the kids play in as I don't want them to ruin my better hammocks. Additionally, they are much heavier and bulkier than what I'd want to carry backpacking... YMMV
I just ordered one for a trial hammock. I'm a total noob but at least this will be an inexpensive way to see if I like it or not. I've wasted more money on worse stuff if it doesn't work out.
