    Hang out in WI?

I would really like to do a group hang this summer. I am new to WI and kind of new to the hammock. Maybe just a quick weekend thing. I'm not really into the campsite thing but wouldn't be against it if that is what a group can agree on. Some place with good scenery and good hiking. Thanks all!

I would be very interested in a group hang too. I am also in Wisconsin and new to hammock camping. I would love a chance to get some tips from the pros! I will definitely go if it fits into my schedule.

I'm just across the boarder in the UP. I have quite a bit of hiking and camping planned already this summer, but I'll subscribe to this thread and keep an eye on it. If it's doable, I'll try to make it. I'm not one of the old pros, but I'm an experienced mistake maker! Whereabouts in WI were you thinking?

    South Kettles is good.

Y'all been following this thread? https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...shing-and-hang

In the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest we can hang in established sites or pick any spot in the woods and hang for free. Established sites cost $5, $12 or $15/night depending upon which area. Well marked trails and awesome scenery. Next best thing to the SHT!! (Superior Hiking Trail)

I'm in Illinois and might join a south kettle moraine camp
Get lost in the woods and find yourself again. A vacation,to me, is working with your hands and surviving because of the fruits of your labor. In the business world I teach;in the natural world I learn.

South Unit, Kettle Moraine. Arrive Friday June 19, Whatever Saturday June 20, Return home Sunday June 21. Works for me.

Would someone familiar with this location select the site and make reservations?

TUMBLEWEED IS IN WITH CALICO BEANS along with BRATS & BUNS. Riding an Ultra Classic, and ADV riding the area Saturday afternoon.

    Lets make this happen...

If y'all are talking car camping, that narrows it down to:

    Pine Woods
    Ottawa Lake
    Horserider's
    Hickory Woods
    Whitewater
