Here is a 12 mile loop I went on a couple of weeks ago in the Worlds End state park and Loyalsock state forest. I took 2 young up and coming backpackers, they sure made the trip fun and interesting. I hope you enjoy the video!

Thanks for sharing!
I always enjoy your and Baxter's adventures on the PA trails. Get those boys some hammock! That rocky ground looks uncomfortable.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!
I might have missed it on the video, but what trail(s) did you do for the overnight trip? How many miles each day? Looks really nice
I was looking at the Worlds End park map and trying to figure out the trails...I believe world's End trail to loyalsock trail....then a link trail but not sure which. Care to give us your course Mr Yooz?
Thanks a bunch I'm glad you enjoyed! Baxter puts holes in hammocks with his nails, I wont be making that mistake again haha. I try to pick somewhat comfortable places for him.
Chris you are correct, the whole loop is only about 12 miles long. We started on the World's End trail, in just over 3 miles you meet up with the Loyalsock trail. You follow the LT till you get to the Canyon vista, From there you can follow the LT down or the Link trail down back to the visitor center. We took the Link trail, it is by far the most scenic way down. We also took a side trip up the Buttonwood nature trail to see the falls, then back tracked back to the Link. Obviously you can do the whole thing for a day hike but for a quick overnighter it is perfect for kids, just make sure you are out of the state park before camping.

Man some things are as old as the 70's. LOL those kids cracked me up. They had a good time. Baxter he reserves his feeling pretty well. Deep down inside he's one excited dog but I did not see him take the plunge into the river. Thanks for the video and taking us along

Digging up an old thread I know, but I plan to do this exact loop today into tomorrow. Getting a late start this afternoon, hiking in, camping, then finishing the loop tomorrow.
I went to world's end state Park dozens of times as a kid, but this will be my first time backpacking there.
