    Nice work.

    I use an overhand knot to tie the two ends together on all my UQs.

    I don't use any knot to tie the carabiners to the UQ suspension. They just move around and self-center themselves once you clip them to the hammock suspension.


    As for adjustment (to bring the UQ closer to the hammock or let it hang further away) it doesn't appear as if you have any way to do that?

    I use the method shown around the 6:00 mark of the video below. It is demonstrated on a bridge hammock but I use it the same way on a gathered end and attach to my hammock suspension with a single mini carabiner attached through both prusiks instead of using 2 - one on both sides - as is demonstrated in the video.
