and I just submitted one for an XLC! First, I'd like to thank all of you for your great advice and thoughts on exactly what I should go for! Accordingly, it's the top cover and Edge for now, but here, I'm too busy skiing in the Winter to do much camping. Springtime though, this might change since I'm a serious Randonee skier, and there's some serious glaciers in our neighborhood, on both Mt. Stuart and Dragontail Peak, plus all the volcanoes to play on!.....gotta camp somewhere! Thanks again everyone--I'm "kinda" excited!

Just ordered an XLC and Superfly myself! Now I'm anxious to see the turn around time. Since I'm in Canada, I'm scheduling a mail pick-up run to my US mailbox in June. Fingers crossed!

I'd also thank the folks on the forum that gave advice on purchasing. Very helpful community!

his prices went up too by $10, at least on the XLC double and Superfly. it looks like the XLC single layer went up even more, it's now $195.

I think he went up on just about all the handcrafted stuff. I know the price was up atleast $10 on the ridge runner and Lynx underquilt I just ordered. Still very much worth it though.

Glad I ordered in February then! Saved me $20 plus US - CAN conversion. Great quality stuff and I'd have probably ordered it anyways.

I ordered two blackbirds this morning as soon as he activated the site. I was so excited to get the order in I hadn't even noticed the price increase. I guess if business is that good it just makes good business sense to increase the price and I think $10 is more then reasonable.

I understand he's hired a few more folks who can sew. Shoot! I can't even turn the danged thing on, so my hat's off those with the skillset and concentration to be able to run a straight line with a sewing machine! You know though, we do have a consolation here. This is like the difference between somebody buying a pizza, driving home with it, and having to wait until they reach home to eat it. At least we don't have to be tortured by the aroma.......

They are on the Ball out there now! I ordered a ridgerunner and lynx underquilt yesterday morning and I just received the shipping notice! I can't believe it!
