I posted a while back about the new Xenon fabric from Dutch and was waiting on an opportunity to check it for leaks. Well, Permatex Flowable Silicone is the ticket for seam sealing, just make sure you clean it first with alcohol. This stuff is a real pleasure to work with, it's slippery, but not too bad and has minimal stretch. I used a split ridgeline with Loop Aliens for suspension and Tarpworms for my guyouts, both made with 1.75 Zing It. Thanks to Dutch for allowing me to try my hand at this, I wasn't sure it was within my skill set, but this fabric makes it pretty easy. I don't have an official weight on it, my scales at work only go up to 100 grams, but it's lighter than any Sil fabric that I've seen. I will order this stuff again as soon as he makes it available, maybe he'll have some OD Green. Thanks again Dutch.
