right to left or left to right for best position with head turned with right ear down

I have been trying both right to left and left to right sleeping. I start on my back, then always end up a bit to my right side with my head turned to the right. Might seem weird, but I just breath the best this way and don't wake up with sinus congestion.

It seems contradictory, but so far I seem to be able to lay on my right side better in a hammock when I am situated right to left. Is this what others have found, or is it just preference or am I doing something wrong?

I'm currently using a double wide hammock, so there is plenty of room to lay on either diagonal.

Does the flat lay with a tendency to end up on a right side hold to right to left in both hammocks, or not? I am considering purchasing a more expensive hammock (WBBB), and want to be sure that I chose the correct position for right to left or left to right.

I say you kinda already know what you need. My lefty Warbonnet Blackbird XLC does me right as I am a head right type. Only cost a bit more for him to made it lefty.

Yeah everyone's different, the best way to figure out what's comfortable is to lay in a hammock and see what you like. Which it sounds like you have. I will say that head left feet right is more common, but everyone sleeps a little different.
