Hadn't given it much thought, but why not? I have two bike slots on the rack for the truck, so we're covered there. I need to get saddle time anyway, thanks to that century in Yellowstone in September! Hadn't heard from Freestone, assuming she's probably traveling to a trade show somewhere. I'll send her a PM-if Jason hadn't called me, I wouldn't have known about it either. Can you send me an email with directions to your place in Kingston?

What kind of bikes? Not sure how many FS roads are around here.

When a bit closer I will check on the river levels, pretty low this year but I was with some friends swimming couple weeks ago.

Either a suspended mountain bike, or a fatbike, lack of roads doesn't interfere with either001.jpg

this is set up as the "grouse bike". We have the "elk bike", the "fishing bike", and the "bikepacking bike" too..........

You'll have to ride my Salsa Mukluk-ride over pretty much anything: pinecones, tin cans, small children-whatever's in the way!

As for food, I am open for just about anything.

Basically except you can't see the cars. You park up top and walk down the trail into the woods. We usually cook and eat up top. But yeah no need not to bring extra comforts.
