Hahaha I am in Atlanta, but because of work and family, I have been inside far FAR too much lately. I need to get out more and reorient.
I have been a backpacker and camper for many years. Probably like many, I scored one of the Yukon Outfitters basic double hammocks on Woot and have had much bigger aspirations since. Being a life-long side sleeper, the ground camping has never been that kind to me; more like varying degrees of discomfort. I am still reading and researching (and saving) to make a real hammock purchase. Since my daughter (4 yo) loves camping too, I will probably get her involved too.
Since I found myself reading here more than anywhere else and yall seemed like a good bunch, I thought I had better join.
