    His 2nd's and 3rd's is one of the best deal's around, and good quality fabric. The coating is a little heavier than "normal", so fabric weights will be higher than the typical 1.2-1.3 oz/sq yard.

    I bought the thirds when it was 25 yrds for $30. Got 2 wither tarps and one hex tarp out of it. Nimerous stuff sacks and still have about five yards to go.

    Wishful thinking maybe, but do you think that adds to water resistance?

    Maybe. On the last run of sage grey I got you could really notice the heavier coating. I asked Oware if he knew HH but he said he didnt have numbers for that material. His 1.9 with 0.5oz coating was 3000mm water iirc though

    Just double checked my email. The 1.9 (70 denier) was 3500mm H2O.
