Hammock pullout points

There are several ways to make pullouts.
The most common is a fabric triangle or a small Grosgrain loop. However just using a small Grosgrain loop can cause problems if you have an integrated bug-net. Zippers don’t like sharp corners and makes it difficult to operate.
I found the most simple and easy way to overcome this is by sewing Grosgrain on the edge at an angle to form a small triangle.
For the first time ever I used plastic a plastic triangle but you don’t have to. A D-ring will also do and nothing likewise.
It may not be a new idea but I haven’t seen it done this way but nor have I been looking for it.
I got the idea from the triangle itself and used the angles as a guide. It forms a nice radius at the pullout point and there is no problems with the zipper.
I used 3/4" triangle and Grosgrain and the zipper is YKK #3C. The fabric is HyperD 1.6 in case you wonder
The grosgrain was sewn to the fabric edge before the zipper(hidden seam) and its actually the two zipper seams holding the grosgrain.

Simple and elegant. I like it. I may add a tie out to one of my hammocks following your idea.
