    The Half-Wit hammock by www.dutchwaregear.com

We set out to make the ultimate ultralight backpacking hammock. I wanted something I could use for three seasons and I would take on a thru-hike. I wanted something that would be simple and minimilist. The Half-Wit hammock has half a reinforced bugnet to cover your head. The bugnet is adjustable so it can be lowered to give a good seal or rolled up so it is out of your way. It has pull outs on either side with line locs so you make the adjustment at the hammock and not the ground. There is a dual knotty mod so you can make a foot box on either side. It comes with a fixed ridgeline and a double ended ARGON sil stuff sack. Lastly it comes with continuous loops (Red for head) to attach an optional suspension. For suspention I am offering a reduced priced Whoopie Hook Suspension with 4 or 5 foot huggers or the Cinch Bug Suspension.

Another nice product. Thank goodness I already have too many hammocks.

I just pulled the trigger on one! What a good looking set up! Double knotty mod, very cool! Now the wait!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

    The Half-Wit hammock by www.dutchwaregear.com

I like this as a great summer hammock. I use my top cover for half the year. But for the heat and bugs this looks perfect. Plus, no zippers!

Interesting idea...my luck, my foot would slip out from under the blanket in the night and I'd be all bit up by morning. Do they come in 11'? (j/k!)

This is great, Dutch. Add another hammock to my DO WANT list.

I am right at the 285lb weight limit so I might need to drop a few lbs before I order

Aw man I just bought an 11ft polyD a few weeks ago. Oh well maybe I'll grab one towards the end of summer, as long as Dutch doesn't change things around again.
