    wafflebox,

The diagonal is the issue for me. I am right at 6 foot myself. Though I do okish with 58-60 inch wide hammocks I want a wider hammock because I cant get angled enough to get a really flat lay. My 5 foot 4 wife can. If I do get the angle my feet are either off the hammock or i feel as if I am a bowed like a banana. It does mean more flappy material around face and feet and more weight but if it means I am more comfortable that to me is a relevant trade off. Plus I can always add a knotty mod to help with some of the extra fabric.

No flappy material if you add tie-outs. Tie-outs will spread the hammock and allow you to utilize most of the extra width. Excellent news. Just what I needed to custom order another BIAS Camper XL.

I had a Thunderbird built with the 1.6 Hyper d fabric and Papa Smurf added alternating wings on the top/bottom layer to acieve a width of 72 inches and it worked out very well, you dont even feel the seam or hardly notice the wings but this new fabric will definetly go fast and will save the vendors a lot of time building wider hammocks.
Hats off to Kyle once again !!!!!!!!

Also, the hunter green looks very nice

Now if I can free up a bit of time in the schedule, I can have a 144" x 72" Half Wit Hammock Clone before the skeeters all die.

Thanks Zilla I appreciate it. The XL colors are lab dipped to match the original HyperD colors BTW. Dark Brown is new though.

    Sweet!!!

Will this wider fabric be an on-going offering? I just finished up a DIY hammock (2 layer), so can't order just yet. I am 6' and could definitely see the added width being more comfy.
