Really nice trip report. Yep, the trillium and Mayapples are abundant through there. Always good to see folks getting out and stretching their legs. Loved the "lipstick on this pig" line. Thanks

Great video! That is the next section that I have to do once I finish the Smokies, which I will start next weekend. From the sound of it, I should be able to do that section in a long weekend, right?
Hiking & Hanging is therapy, and much cheaper than medication in the long run. Carry on.

I wish the camera could capture what the eye sees but they were some great views. Thanks
I met 3 groups of day hikers doing an out and back between Lemon Gap and Max Patch to see the flowers. That must be a real hot spot for them. Thanks for watching.
It was @ 35 miles and if you add the couple miles from the road below Davenport Gap to it, it's still very doable in 3 days. Enjoy the Smokies and thanks for watching!
Nice! Doing this section in September. Looking forward to it.
Very nice Firebird! Thanks for posting up the video and taking us along.
I'm looking to hike GA in a few weeks myself.
u.w.
That video makes me want to get up that way. Love your video, I'm taking my son twice this summer to the Smokies. Can't wait.
Excellent video and thanks for sharing with us. Someday I will make my way to the AT.
Straight out of Clayton.
Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.
I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
Thanks for watching. I think you'll enjoy it.
Thanks for following along
Thanks Bammacker, enjoy the time with your son in the Smokies.
There's no good time like the present to get started. Thanks for watching Tacoma96.
Hey Chigger,
Interesting idea! I was thinking of parking up at Jumping Off Rock around Wed. Noon and heading north or something like that. I'm thinking of bringing enough food for 3 nights but may not stay that long. This is just general thoughts so far.
