    Staking out?

Just curious....Do you stake out your Hammeck Netty or Envy? Why or why not?

Awesome question. I rarely stake mine out at all. My wife stakes out the head end, she finds that it keeps the quilt in place a bit better, and ensures the noseeum doesn't encroach on the space around her head. I've tried this, and find that she's right, I just usually forget to bring my shock cord along... At the foot end, it doesn't really benefit as much. You can stake either or both to your tarp corner stakes, so you wouldn't need any additional stakes.

Thanks...good idea on staking to the tarp stake. I'll give that a shot next time.

I don't usually because the tie out is too low and pushes my under quilt down below where I want it. Especially at the foot end.

I was in the Netty (girlfriend's) for a couple nights this weekend, and I staked out the side pulls just to get the fully Netty experience. They helped keep the pulled net out of my face. Of course, this could also not be an issue with the side pulls not staked.
