    Hanging in Bama

    Hey,

I've done a lot of reading in these forums, excellent source of information and a great community. I've had ENO Doublenest and Singlenest hammocks for a while, but they've mostly stayed in the truck just incase I needed them. Recently, I built a Turtledog stand and started to get more use out of them. My friend has also mentioned hiking and I've always liked the idea of backpacking, so I've come here to read and learn as much as I can. I got a package in the mail yesterday from Dutch and have strung up two suspension systems with whoopie slings to test out soon. I already want a WB Superfly, some kind of down underquilt and top quilt and more fancy DutchWare for hanging the tarp.

Central part, near Birmingham. It seemed like I've noticed several people from Alabama on these forums.

Hi! I also line in central Alabama, and want to get more into camping in general and hammock camping in particular. I'm more of a hunter but want to spend more time outdoors, and I can get the kids involved more this way too. Nice to meet you!

    Welcome from Russellville, Alabama!
This forum is a great source of info! I've learned a lot here...
Two heads are good, three are great, but all heads at hammockforums is the best case scenario!
