    hello from PA

hey guys, new to the hammock scene, but been an outdoors guy for a long time. i'm from ohio, but recently moved to PA and a whole new world of wilderness and outdoors have come to life with all these hills and mountains over here! (NW ohio is flatter than a pancake) so i'm taking advantage of it while i have it with some new gear and friends that also like to be outdoors.
got myself an ENO double nest and a Grand trunk single. made myself a stand for my single and use the double for adventuring and whatnot. doing my first over nighter in it this weekend (gonna be chilly at night though) hopefully my 30 degree sleeping bag will do ok for me. might have to invest in an underquilt if i do more of this kind of camping. wish me luck!

Welcome from Maine, I used to live and work in Reading, PA, 25 years ago.
I was sleeping with a bag and a pad for the last 3 years, I just purchased a underquilt after fighting my slippery pad all night long.

Welcome from the Jersey Shore. You're going to need a pad underneath you - I don't think the sleeping bag alone will cut it.

    Welcome from Southwestern PA.

Lots of good hiking and camping to be had in and around PA.

Can't go wrong with an under quilt, its one investment you will not regret.
