Question Looking for advice on my Linville gorge Trip ?

I am heading down to Linville Gorge soon, I have never been there ! I have a permit to camp in the gorge on a Friday Night, and will have to camp on the rim Saturday night. So I will have 3 days two nights. Any suggestion on a route that is a loop, since we will have only on car. I am looking for the less steep way down , and up. Any suggestions ?

    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

Agreed. Go right to the experts. Plus they have their own set of maps there. And GPS data. And advice on pies.

Their trail maps are great, you can download pdf files as well as gps files of the gorge.

Conely Cove down is not too hard. Go down head south. Backtrack to go back up Conely. Same going North from Conely Cove.
