Hard to beat Dutchware for the basics. He has good prices and ships fast. You won't be disappointed.

If you want Dutchware, go to the source, but there's stuff that he doesn't have. There is a cottage shop for every hammock need.

Accessories? What, other than a hammock, do you have now? Tarp? Underquilt? What are you using, or planning to use for your suspension system?

You'll likely find one retailer has the best X but, the best Y is sold by another guy and if you want the best Z, you'll have that made by a hiker in California. You'll also find that as soon as you invest in cool piece of hardware, someone will conceive an entirely different gizmo that make your's seem too outdated to use.

So, take a deep breath. Take stock of your dollars.

Hats off to pgibson from Arrowhead Equipment, a few posts up the ladder from here.

Very simply said "but there are other shops as well," without injecti9ng any self-serving ad copy.

I have never met him and never done business with Arrowhead, but hey sure do have an interesting collection of stuff and I'd be inclined to buy from them if for no other reason than that they monitor this site closely and are always quick to offer their expertise and experience.

There are a lot of great vendors on this site. I've personally had great experiences with the following:

    Arrowhead-Equipment.com
    Warbonnetoutdoors.com
    wildernesslogics.com
    hammockgear.com
    dutchwaregear.com

I'm know there are plenty of other great vendors on here as well but these are the ones I've had experience with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them. It really comes down to what you are looking at purchasing as each have certain specialties but most any of them will sell accessories for your hammock. Good luck and welcome to the forum!
