As long as your strap buckles remain under the tarp they should be all you need for a water break.

Looks good. I personally prefer to stack the extra webbing upstream of the buckles but that's not to big of a deal. On the tarp you should not get much flow as your tarp RL can be pretty level rather than angled down like your hammock suspension. If you do need to angle it take and tie a slipped half hitch close to the end to act as a break. Even though that's just above the end it will channel off most of the water flow before it gets to the end of the tarp.
