Thanks again to Grizzly Outdoors and Rex Clifton for getting the ball rolling. Thanks also to Goobie and Gsx-rboy750 for showing interest and keeping the ball rolling. Thanks also to DBurrito and RiverHiker for the tips from ones who have been there.

    Now.....

Who is planning the June or July hang???

    I'll help with the maps.

Bummer Gsx-rboy750 that your experience was not off the charts like mine. For those following along your vid was taken from the north bridge across Mary Creek. Same place as my second pic in post #79 in this thread.

Still fiddling with my Trail Report so here's a couple pics to tide y'all over.

Fanny Lake on yet another gorgeous northwoods day.

This is how clear the water in most of the lakes is. This spot is about nine feet deep.

In Mary Creek north of the south bridge and on north past the north bridge there was more vegetable matter and tannin yet could still see fairly clearly 5-7 feet down. South of the south bridge it was almost as clear as in this pic. Suspect there are some dams, beaver or human, between the north and south bridges.

Maybe another poll to determine which weekend if there is no clear choice.

there are a bunch of "dispersed" sites up in nicolet, & a bunch where you don't have to backpack in. unfortunately they've opened up so many atv trails nowadays, so it's hard to have total quiet (unless you walk way into a place, obviously - but i have too much stuff w/me for that).
