Has anyone tried spraying nylon with some of the Never Wet products? And was wondering how long it was good for.

I havent If your talking about that two step aeresol process from Rustoleum that beeds off everything; Ive read some reviews a while back that said it leaves a "chalky" coating on certain fabrics. I was going to do my hiking sneakers, but decided against it after reading that. maybe sometime I should just buy the kit and do some experiments.
I have not sprayed on a tarp but I have used the product. Not very abrasion resistant. Folding or rolling the tarp will wear it off in short order. I didn't like the residue it leaves. I would not recommend this as an option.
YMMV

I've wondered about this also. Recently sprayed a pair of shoes for my wife and myself. My canvas camp shoes went from brown to kinda purpleish. Still have most of the kit left over and some scrap fabric. May give it a test today since it's raining.
