Also a good idea. I'm going to get some SilPoly soon hopefully and work on another tarp, so I'll probably be using one of these suggestions for cat cuts. The molding didn't crash or anything under stress from being forced?

I cracked a piece if moulding trying to do a cat cut, so I switched to a piece of 1 inch pvc with string run through and tied together to make a kind of bow.

Do you still like the side pull outs? I went back and forth over those and can't decide if the extra room is worth punching more holes in the sides and adding more weight.

The inside loops are pretty sweet, though, and I can see benefits in being able to tie hammock side pull outs to the tarp.

To be honest, I've used the side tieouts only once. I definitely see the benefit to them if I'm going to be hanging out under the tarp for a while, but outside of that, I don't know how often I'll use them. Most of the time I hang my tarp on porch mode. Even the night I hung when it was raining, I hung my tarp low, but still had the front on porch mode.
Now the inside tieouts on the other hand, I use them every time I hang and they are awesome! Since I was already doing them, I didn't put any additional holes in the tarp because I I sewed them back to back. In other words, where the inside tieouts are, it's exactly where the outside tieouts are. I sewed the inside webbing with d rings first, then placed webbing on the outside with a d ring overlapping the webbing on the outside.

Looks great, just finished my hammock and was trying to decide what was going to be next.

Is there anything you think you would do differently?
