Great work! I am just about to start first tarp and I am wondering how you attached the tie outs in the body of the tarp. Sewing and seam seal seems to be the way to go but I saw some videos on YouTube take have used PVC (?) glue. Which did you go with?
For the tieouts on the sides, I just cut out some circles of the same ripstop material and doubled it over and sewed it, then sewed it to the sides. Then I sewed some webbing into the inside and outside with d rings in them. For the corners I folded the circles in quarters and sewed around the outside of them and then sewed them with webbing into the corners. For my ridgeline I sewed it per Diygearsupply's instructions (I think it's called a flat felled/French seam hybrid.) For sealing I got some Silnet and carried my tarp outside and hung it low enough that I could reach my ridgeline and "painted" the Silnet on pretty thick. I haven't been able to try it in the rain yet, so I'm not sure how well it's sealed up, but time will tell I guess!

Two heads are good, three are great, but all heads at hammockforums is the best case scenario!
I like it. looks nice.
Living Minnesota! Great Land, lousy politics. But hey, my family is here so......
Great job there for your first tarp! I like the way you did the tie-outs and side pulls too.
I use the same method for my cat-cuts: 6' Swanson ruler from Lowes.
Thank you. I have to say that I like the way I did them too! They are working great (from what limited use they've got so far - Which hasn't been a lot unfortunately!)
The ruler worked out pretty well. I had to guesstimate a little on the sides as the ruler wasn't quite long enough, but I thought it turned out pretty well.
