MO > Hawn State Park>this Saturday night

I am packing up now and I am going to go down Friday night. The weather is too nice to pass up, I have Saturday off and my son is out of town for the weekend. Do you have a spot you would recommend to hang on a short hike in Friday night? I am going to pm you my number and we can meet up Saturday when you get down.

For a short hike in, I would camp at "backpacking camp 1", it's on the connector trail. It's a short hike in and a pretty good place to hang. We will be coming down Saturday early afternoon. I'll have to figure out with the wife what direction to take at the trail head. We will most likely camp at that same site as to have a quick hike out Sunday morning.

Hope you get this before you leave. I got a call early this morning and my son is coming home a day early from his trip so I had to pack up and head out. Great call on the campsite, got all set up a little before dark and had a great hang. I went ahead and hiked part of the north loop this morning and then doubled back so I could get back in time. I love how it is posted everywhere that no fires are allowed but there are 2 fire rings at that campsite. Thanks again for the info and hope you have a great hang!!
