Hopefully this won't be deemed inappropriate but aren't there aspects of your married life that the arrangement has a significant negative aspect on? I am genuinely curious how full time hangers deal with that.

Awesome Question Interesting somebody actually actually asked, impressive.

    1) It could be a whole lot more fun, depending on your physical or coordination abilities. Imagine the new book that would have to be made to pictograph hammock true love methods. *note to self - write a book!
    2) but I often answer to others, I have a whole house. I find it odd (maybe sad) that some people only use a bed. Life is meant to me mixed up and explored! Explore your own domain. We have the best little wood stove. on a cold winters night, there is no better way to enjoy the 'glow' of a fire then there in front of it, on blankets
    3) Our hammocks are there for one purpose, for us. Deep deep, restful, awesome sleep. giving more next day energy for (who knows what & where?

we live on 10 acres of pure wilderness. eventually with this kind of life, you really appreciate the teachings of the wild animals around you. 'When in the Forest, do as the animals do' Sans bed.
    'It was meant to happen?'

Its how you use what just happened to make the best of everything that follows. - me, I just said that.

Thank you for the candid as well as family friendly answer... Alas, at my stage of life with the population and proximity of others in my home, I am not entirely sure it would work BUT it might merit a discussion with the Mrs...

My sentiments exactly. With little ones in the nest, the options are kinda limited.

Oh... I wish I could sew! So far the best I have come up with is using my freebird to hold my sleeping bag underneath for an underquilt, and wrapping myself in my duvet, which works, but that's too much for summer, and summer is coming. I tried the wool blanket when I first got my mayan, and it's true it does the job, but having that layer of cotton over top and the foot pocket would certainly cosy it up!

    Nice job Melissa!
