Hi guys, I just thought I'd post some pics of my new gen 2 silpoly tarp.
Dimensions are 350cm x 280cm with a 8cm cat cut on the edge.
Gen 2 feels more like a bit more like silnylon to sew, but a bit easier to work with.

Great job on the tarp, Shadown-MKII. I like your pole mod for this tarp. It makes it nice and rounded when pitched.
Now one just needs a good rain/snow storm to test how well it performs in foul weather.

The Tarp with mesh snakeskins, 8 lashit guylines and a CRL with a Dutch wasp and hook in stuff sack is 19oz.
Poles add another 13oz but I am going to get nanolites or carbon with my next order from Quest.
I work in Outdoor Education so my tarp is also emergency shelter for the kids/group when I'm at work.
