On the fence between two hammocks

Hi guys, im looking for some feedbacks to help me decide on my next hammock.

I'm currently running a HH Survivor, first hammock, and after a season I now know what I really want. No more bottom entry and the more important, bottom insulation system. I have no intention of getting an underquilt so I have narrow it down to the 2 following hammocks, both at almost the same price at the moment on hennessy website.

Explorer deluxe asym zip with super shelter
    Jungle explorer zip

I researched both of those 2 systems before purchasing a WBBB XLC. I read mixed reviews on the super shelter, the jungle explorer is new so couldn't find anything but I did like the double layer and the pad inside for convenience. If you don't want an under quilt because of set-up/convenience, I would think the supershelter would pose the same issues. For milder weather and future expansion I would go jungle explorer between those two.

Sticking with Hennessy because you like the Survivor? You know, if you like the survivor, there are insulation options for the bottom entry. And frankly, much better options for "Canada, East Coast" in my opinion.

No under quilt is mostly because of the price.
Yes I'm happy with hennessy and the survivor, seems to be the easiest to get in Canada, I keep looking at what for sale on here but shipping to Canada is very limited.

I know I will not go back to a tent so I want to get a setup that I will stick with without nothing to desire for like zip entry.

Dakotaross, im open for suggestion, not sure what you mean by better options for east coast.

I've never used a Super Shelter. Most of the negative reports I have heard about it are regarding durability.

Cost of an Underquilt is affected by temperature rating and materials used.

It gets pretty cold in Eastern Canada.

Will you be doing any winter camping, or any camping in temps below 30*F?

30*F camping is not going to be more than a couple times a year.

Do what is degrading fast on the SS, the pad?

I don't know of the intricacies of customs, but have you considered shipping your hammock to 2QZQ to sew closed the bottom entry and install a side zipper on your current hammock? She does great work. http://www.2qzqhammockhanger.com/

Customs are no problems for camping equipment.

I don't want to modify my survivor, actually, I can do it myself. I just want to upgrade. I also wear camo all day at work, so when I go camping, I don't want to sleep inside a camo bubble lol

On the fence between two hammocks

Canadian customs are brutal. They are getting nasty. Anything over 50$ now has a chance of getting nailed. I won't say what I got hit with on a used greylock 3, a new mt Washington 4 or a EE TQ. Not to mention fabric. It's weird because stuff from China and Germany get nothing. Different airports maybe...
None of my quilts I've sent to the USA have had customs issue. It's really unfair.

Anything made in the US shouldn't be hit with customs coming in to Canada.
