Night grid camo. We first used it in Desert Shield/Storm for our IR ponchos.

Hi Gresh, Oh my I am not sure. I told Papa I wanted more support and little stretch I don't think its ripstop. Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Does it look as good in the wild as it does in the picture?

    Hi attroll,
Our website can certainly be confusing because of all the options available. We're currently working on revisions to many of the pages, but we're not quite there yet. If we can help you configure a hammock to suit your needs, just let me know.

Yes, this is a 1.8oz high count nylon taffeta in the Night Grid Camo pattern. It has a slightly denser, finer weave than many of our other 70d nylon taffeta fabrics. It feels a little plasticy when brand new, but softens up real nice after it's been used a few times.

Both of my hammocks are SL 11'x60" and they are perfect for me.
The one tip I will suggest is get enough zipper pulls so you are not reaching to the sky to get in and out.
What do you mean by "get enough zipper pulls so you are not reaching to the sky to get in and out"?
Do you mean that I should get dual, separating zippers?

Thank you PapaSmurf. Once I decide on the width, I will contact you to work on configuring it.

Yes. One nice feature Dreamhammocks offers is additional zipper pulls.
For instance if you get a covered hammock having a vent(1 zipper pull each side) and having a pair of additional pulls on the side you get in/out of is a nice touch.

    Vent:

Duel zippers pulls: so you can have the open/close zipper pulls close beside you not up at the top of the hammock where they are hard to reach.

At our heigth I really think 60" wide is perfect.
I would not recommend much wider than that and the 11' hammock pretty much does away with all calf leg pressure that many 10' hammocks have.

I am 5'9" 180 and I have a 11' x 63"(finished width) Roaming Gnome and couldn't be happier. It is just the bugnet with no over cover. I did get the modified zippers (3 zippers on one side so you can close the net in the middle instead of zipping way up past your head) and it's been great. In the winter and summer I can leave the bugnet off and stowed if needed. Feels roomy but not cavernous to me.

I would recommend the HyperD I have it on the inside layer of mine and it feels like sleeping on silk. If you only want single layer though it may not be what you want because of its stretch though. My wife has the night-grid camo and its really cool looking. We have extra zippers just make sure you specify if you want them on the bug net, overcover or both.

Now I am confused! Can't make up my mind on what I want to try next. Not the least sure on the zippers.

You, all talking about how long you are has me feeling like a widget! Part of what I am having problems with the gathered end hammock is they are very difficult for me to get out of in the middle of the night. I always get horrible leg cramps trying to get out and up while fighting with balance issues.

I wonder if the 11 ft hammock is a better lay for everyone or just longer people? I am 62 inches long and not going to get any taller, I am not sure if the 11ft hammocks are part of my problem with exiting or if I will have the same problem with all gathered end hammocks. Bridge works well, however it is sooo long.
