When you think about it, 250# isn't really that big. Kinda makes me feel a little better. I'm 240# and a double layer 1.1 diy is my go to hammock. I could ust that thing as a trampoline.

Just Bill's Big Guy Bridge Hammock (BGBH)!!! I was 6' - 288 when I started and tried several different kinds of hammocks. Stumbled upon Just Bill's BGBH and I've never looked back.

I have been using a 1.7 DL BB for 10 year now and I weigh between 275 and 300 lbs. Holds me just fine.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

    Any suggestions are extremely welcome.

I have owned a Warbonnet Blackbird XLC, a LittleShopOfHammocks Warrior Edge, and a Dutchware Chameleon. I am the same weight as you and all three are comfortable and safe.

This. I'm 6' 190, but I've had a few 300+ dad's at Scout camp outs try it and love it.
