6'4" 255lbs here.
Eno double nest with fixed ridge line is my always with me relaxing hammock. And a Hennessy Hammock Explorer deluxe zip for camping, with hex fly. Both work great for me personally.

6' 2" and 360ish here . these i have found to be suited for heavier guys of course prefrence is so personal that you will have to just try them..lol
but for the bigger range-
Dream hammocks for custom( as mentioned the 72" IMO is very nice)
Warbonnet dl either blackbird or blackbird xlc,
Hammeck, any of them in in appropriate weight range , but 40d acu is their widest in stock fabric, clostest in price range also for product range
Simply Light Designs..Not enough said about this vendor either, but very reasonable for semi custom gear and a email or two and you will have it lightning fast
as listed above many more mainstream choices
but for me wider heavier fabric feels better and the four above have been my personal best so far.
good luck![
It's not the boulders that throw us off balance, it's the pebbles beneath our feet
6 FT 2 425 Lbs,, Dream Hammock thunderbird double layer made with ripstopbytheroll's Hyper D fabric, 72 inch wide 11 footer.
I also hang in a Warbonnet XLC double layer and it holds me just fine as well, feel safe sleeping in either one but alittle more secure feeling in the Dream Hammock, Hyper D
I'm 6'3" 240 and slept in a DIY single layer nylon (Its not even rip-stop!) made from outlet store $1/yd for 2 years. I would not recommend that, but with a bit of care you should be fine with 1.9 oz single layer or any weight double layer.

I always like going SOBO; somehow, it feels like going downhill.
...and as it harm none, do what ye will.
I'm 5'-10" around 265 lbs. I have a Warbonnet XLC Double layer with standard suspension. It feels very secure when sleeping no slipping or sagging. Often my children or Grand children are in it with me in the back yard playing around with no issues.

You've had some great suggestions sent your way. One more I haven't seen on the list is the Wilderness Logics Night Owl. That would be a great hammock to consider as well. There are plenty of hammocks to hold your weight, from there it becomes personal preference and what you intend to do with it. Backpacking vs. car camping, areas with a lot of bugs vs. winter camping with no bugs, etc, etc. Good luck in your search.
Dutch's NylonD is good up to 285.
Always last to the camp site.
I'm 6'0 and 285# my Eno DN hasn't failed me. I also have the woot.com Yukon Outfitters DN and it's held up as well. I'm looking at getting a Dream Hammock in the future.

Late to the party, but I've been in an Eno DN for about 3 years and it's been awesome. I've backpacked many a mile in this baby and it just keeps taking what I give it. I'm currently 6'1 337lbs, but I've been as high as 380 while hanging in it without any issues. It was my "starter" hammock until I bought a better one, but I haven't felt that need at all.
Eno single(or double) nest can hold your weight well, and is easily available. It is not the best option by any means but it is still an option. The many other hammocks that people here mentioned are better due to price, quality, and weight. If you cant wait a week to hang and have money to burn, you can always get an eno
