    When all else fails, Amazon has it and with Prime it can be at your door in 2 days. But yeah, the box stores should have it in the plumbing section, though it's not listed on the main website, so it's hit or miss.

    Pay about $6 for a 12"x12" piece at a plumbing supply store.
    Pay about $12 for the same sized piece, shipped from http://www.thefeltstore.com
    Pay about $12 for the same sized piece, shipped from Amazon with Prime.

    Do NOT pay $6 plus $9 shipping on Amazon

    HD has it. Larger piece than you need, so you'll have extra. About $15 I think.
    Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same

    Yes, just bought some from Home Depot yesterday. 13.95 and I can make a few stoves from it.

    On eBay you can buy a carbon felt windscreen. This is a cheaper alternative.

    My local hw store was a bust... it doesn't carry it. However, I found a place that sells a 3x3-foot piece for $22.50. That's a lot of carbon felt, but the cheapest in absolute terms. Here's the breakdown of prices per square inch of all the options in the thread, listed from most expensive to least expensive. I hope I did my math right.

    Home Depot = 13 cents
    eBay = 9.7 cents
    Amazon = 8.7 cents
    Plumbing store= 4.2 cents
    Cyberweld = 1.7 cents

    Here's the url for the cheapest choice: http://store.cyberweld.com/panfelwelbla.html
    And here's where I found the recommendation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_c27x9lOvLw

    I am going to order from Cyberweld and divide the felt in six 6" x 36" pieces. Will keep two pieces, and will sell four at $7 per piece, shipped CONUS. That breaks down to 3.2 cents/square inch. PM me if interested - first come first serve.

    I have a piece of Carbon Felt. I would be willing to trade for a decent set of snake skins.

    Thanks.
