    Hello from Beautiful Southern Ohio!

I've been researching hammocks for about 6 months. I really enjoy winter hiking and camping. I am a big guy and have decided on a Warbonnet Blackbird Double layer 1.7 XLC. I hear nothing but good things about it. I heard Brandon is a great guy too, but I didn't have that experience when emailing with him. I'm looking to buy the hammock, top cover, UQ, OQ, and Superfly. Based on first impression I don't want to spend my money buying his products. Has anyone else had a bad experience with Brandon at Warbonnet Outdoors or is it just me?

It took me a couple of tries before I connected with him on the phone for questions. He was very helpful. I wondered when I didn't get the instant contact I was hoping for but I think sometimes he just gets really busy. I think you will be happy with your choices. I also have the wbbb xlc and it's great. Just be sure to hang the head lower than the foot end, as much as a foot lower. It is a very secure feeling hammock and offers good support. Try again with Brandon would be my advice.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad to be here. I'm looking forward to hanging this year inside and out. I'll give Brandon another shot!
