    New Hammock Needed

I have been using hammocks for about 2 years now. I started with the $100 one from Amazon (can't remember model) and I loved it. But I wanted to move away from it, for some reason. So I moved to an Wise Owl. And I hated that one. I could barely get out of it being the loop was too low. But then I came across a Hennessy Expedition Classic. And that was a godsend. It was just perfect. Wasn't too deep, and I could get in and out like a breeze. The only fault is the mosquito netting was always bothering me.

Is there any other brand, as there are so many, that fits my criteria here?

I use this hammock in my room. The stand I use is 9" long. And my bedroom is 10"x10". so I don't have a lot of room to move here.

    Help? (Any question, ask)

Ze_Mind, If you are only using the hammock indoors and your "indoors" isn't outside (open windows and such). Then your next hammock doesn't need a bug net. Or it can have a removable bug net. You'll want to consider that in your candidate consideration.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

Well, yeah, but some are too deep, or too long.

I need ideas here on what to look for.

Your 9' stand is the limiting factor, you're stuck with a 10.5' hammock at best. Depending on your height I would go as wide as you can. Contact Jared at simply light designs, a streamliner in an XL fabric at 10.5' should work well for you.

As others have noted, you don't need a bugnet and the limiting length of 10-feet in the room is a challenge. I would opt for a polyester fabric (almost zero stretch in comparison with nylon), as the lay will be taught.

Given the room dimensions, I would attempt to angle the hammock on the walls, so if there was to be a bed placed in the room, anchor one end of the wall attachments at the bed end (your choice of left or right sides) and on the foot end, move down the walls (foot end of the bed) until you can get a 12-13 foot "ridgeline" length.

In this manner, your options are vastly increased.

Some of the reasons I chose a 136-inch x 90-inch polyester tablecloth hammock are no-stretch, very wide for diagonal lay (I can lay 90-degrees to the ridgeline if so desired), these can be priced as low as $15-dollars (then have a local sewing shop stitch 4-line end channels).

Bugnet was my only option. I know it wasn't the best choice, but it was my only.

I can angle it, but not by much. As there's a dresser and computer desk in the way. (on each side of room)

Don't tell me "you need this fabric" I'm asking, what brand is good.

And I'm 5'4", so rather small.
