New tarp guylines with Dutch bling

Just as a proof of concept/proving to myself that it could be done, I took 1.2mm dyneema "tech line" and eye spliced it onto some aluminum stakes I had and then put on the Dutch hookworms and then eyespliced the other end. With some shock cord continuous loops attached to my tarp tieouts- this should make staking out my tarp a cinch!

On the technical side, I don't have a scale that will go down that far, but let's just say that these are extremely light (lighter than Zing It or Lash It). It still has a breaking strength of something like 285 lbs! It's a little tricky and takes a little bit of work to backsplice it, but I'm very pleased with the results!

The tech line is actually such small diameter that I had to tie a knot in the end just below the eyesplice on the free end because even the eyesplice would slip through the eye of the hookworm!

Nice work! I have some 1.5mm 12 strand that is an absolute bear to splice, that must've been even worse. How are you fingers?

Fingers are kind of sore! But I think I've about got the hang of it.

Do you mean how do I plan to use them with the tech line or do you mean how well do they work with the tech line?
I believe the hookworms are going to work perfectly! I haven't actually been able to setup my tarp yet and test it, but they cinch down just fine as you can see here.
As far as how I plan to use them, I plan to use them just like you would with Zing It. I've put a continuous loop of shock cord on my tieouts on my tarp and I'll just clip the hookworms onto it and cinch down.
I'll post pics when I can get it setup.

Now I've just got to figure out the best way to do my tarp continuous ridgeline. I bought a Dutch hook and a Dutch wasp, but I obviously didn't think things through all the way, because I can't figure out how those are going to help me without getting more stuff!
Maybe someone can help me out. How I've got my ridgeline now is with a minibiner eye spliced onto my fixed end. I wrap that end around the tree and it doubles back on itself and attaches to the ridgeline and the tarp. Then the other end wraps around the other tree and has a minibiner on the loose end attached to a prusic look.
I know others use and know this setup. I like the ease in which it sets up and the ease in which I can adjust it back and forth on the fly. Can someone help me replicate a similar system with Dutch bling? Even if I have to buy more!
