    Hello from Columbia, SC

Just wanted to say a big Thank You to the forum members! I have been lurking for awhile now, learning as much as I can. I had always been ground dweller until last summer when I got a GT double. I can't believe it took so long to see the light! Now, I've added a few more pieces to the setup and who knows; before long, I might be a bona fide hammock camper.

I am looking forward to my first multi-night trip with the hammock, a Foothills Thru in three weeks and might even post a report. Hope to see some of the community on the trails!

Welcome from just north of you in Charlotte.
Never been on the Foothills trail but it's on my list (even have the map, just need the time).
Sounds like a great place multi-night trip with the hammock.

    Welcome from the other Carolina

Have tons of family near you in Cayce and Lexington, so have spent plenty of time there in the SC hotspot (hottest spot in the state in the summer), thank God for the Broad and Congaree river and lake Murray.

    Anyway welcome to the addiction.

Welcome to the club from GA. It would not be very fair to talk about taking a walk along the Foothills Trail with posting some pics.
