Cool VIDEO: Winter Wonderland - Winter Wonderland In The Adirondacks

Finally, a trip in 2015! Come along as we enjoy an overnight in the Adirondack Mountains. Russ (DuctTape & Sausage King) and Justin (Justin) join me for a trip to Southerland Mountain. We camped in a hemlock grove at the base of the mountain and then bushwhacked to the summit, sort of (you will have to watch to see what happened). I brought along my harmonica (thanks for all of the requests to do so) and we grilled up more meat than a 4th of July BBQ. Come along for a trip into winter wonderland it was a great start to the 2015 season!

    - Rob

**I will be posting a full "What's In My Pack" video showing all of my gear I used in this trip.

Great trip report- looks like you all had some fun. Hiking in snow- and especially breaking trail- can eat up your energy/ stamina real quick, pace yourself. Like the 'festivus' ref.-hahaha.

What a great way to start my morning. Thanks you guys that was great.
Loved Ducktape's air guitaring with his hiking pole while you were grasping for words and air during your bushwack, too funny.

Those 2 sure did, I was wondering what they were building. After dinner they stretched out like a couple of couch potatoes! Thanks for the comment.

Glad you liked it O&B! I didn't catch the air guitar (it was Justin) until about the 3rd time through the editing process, too funny. I was tuckered out on my way up that mountain, I couldn't hardly muster up a word. Thanks again.

I like the "posing" clip. Looks like the trip was a goodie. Sliding on your butt is always fun. Great video.

Rob, thanks for sharing what looks like a great trip. The trip in, trip up and trip back looked like everyone enjoyed. Your harmonica added to the delicious eats you cooked up. Bet you weren't hungry when you got back to the trailhead.

Thanks for posting, as always an enjoyable video you made. I've never camped in the snow, but think it would be a lot of fun with the right gear.
