Hey G…PCS - can you give me some approximate dimensions on the brisket so I bring the right size brisket warmer?
Momma Huey - steak question - should I pack one or are you still looking for takers for the ones you are bringing? Not trying to mooch one but didn't want to duplicate if there was already enough. I see there's salad and bread coming. What can I do to contribute?

I don't know what to say...my dog sitter is otherwise engaged (no not to be married, but other stuff has come up) so I will not be able to join ya'll for the hanging of the baking butts. So sad, too bad for me. I will try to make the drive over on Friday night to say howdy and let you rub salt on my non-baked wounds by showing me your own special brand of butt baked-ness. Well of course I don't want to inspect butts TOO closely. lol Have a great time and cya Friday or in November.
Thanks for the checklist sarge! Had the map printed with route dates and details for underneath the car seat ICOE, but failed to print em off for our packs...DOH!
It's gunna be a long day at work, I'm jealous of ya'll getting out today but We'll see you late tomorrow morning! Any last minute requests, post em here or have Sarge text me and we'll grab it on our way in.
Mike,
It is a full size brisket; I was thinking to cut it in half and stack it, or just slice it already and put the au jus on it? I have it in an oven bag, and will have heavy duty foil to double wrap it...at Walmart, not really camping until you make a last minute trip...
Take it easy,

Heading out now. Need to stop for froo froo bread and Academy. Can't see to find the good ol' boonie hat. Hope its already packed, but if you see me with a strange hat on----
Sarge, and everyone, there a banner on the walker county courthouse saying there's a burn ban in effect. Looks like no campfire for us.
Remember...no matter where you go...there you are.

I am bringing an enclosed fire pit. We should be able to use that for a fire.
