    nc spring yates hang 2015.

I would like to thank all those that attended or visited. I would like to thank all those that pitched in especially hotlips and kingsford. We definitely don't go hungry. Thanks to mike for the wood, even though he didnt camp, it didnt look like much was there. Good food, good fire and great people.

I only took a couple of photos but along witb gunner I know many others were taking them. I will post the fall hang in a few days.

I had a fantastic time meeting new people and enjoying great food and of course lollygagging around the fire. Looking forward to the next one that I will be able to attend.

Made it home safe and sound. Had a great time and will write up a report tomorrow after I have a chance to review the photos I took. My legs are a bit sore after that short walk several of us went on Saturday. Will see a bunch of you again in a few days at Umstead and we can do it again.

Got to the hang Friday after noon to find that PappyAmos did not allow the rain to stick around this time. Set up and greeted others showing up. Stayed up till midnight before hitting the hammock. According to my thermometer it got down to 25 degrees Friday night. Stayed nice and toasty. Overslept and missed breakfast. Found out that Firebird was leading a hike and 8 of us went on a pleasent 6 mile stroll on the Uwharrie Trail across Kings Mt, the highest point on the trail. Got back to find out several folks had gone a shorter hike close by. Had a great dinner cooked by Kingsford and Hotlips. Was tired from the hike so I was in the hammock by 9pm. Woke up about 3 AM and went up to the fire and enjoyed the stars and the warmth of the fire by my self. After about 45 minutes I went back to sleep and this time I got up in time for breakfast. Got to talk to Meckie from Hammecks who brought their new stands and showed off some of their hammocks. Meckie said he got a message from some friends asking him if he wanted to go camp out and he told them too late, he already was. Got to talk to several hangers I have not met before. All to soon it was time to pack up and head home. Seemed like a really short hike but lots of fun.

These are a few of the pictures from the hike
