    Installing whoopee hooks

I have an extra set of whoopie slings that I'm planning to give to a friend (I successfully converted my bf from ground to tree dwelling! Three cheers for me!). I'd like to be able to add a whoopie hook to them just in case he ends up with more than one hammock but it's not a deal breaker if I don't as he can just undo the larks head to swap out. Is there a way to put a hook on an already 'made' sling without taking it all apart? I'm guessing not, but thought I'd pick your brains. I don't have the tools to completely undo a sling and put it back together.

I wouldn't thinks so unless you made a soft shackle with the hook on it, but I am not sure what weight those soft shackles can hold.

You can pull apart the adjustable loop or put the hook on a continuous loop on the hammock.

Just cut the backsplice off the whoopie tail, undo the whoopie, put the whoopie hook on, put whoopie back together, and re-do the backsplice. You'll only loose a couple of inches.
