Hello everyone. New comer from Ct. Just starting out with hammocks. I have a Grand Trunk ultralite with homemade tree straps and rings. I have hung a few times with it and had some fun, but find that model very uncomfortable for an all night excursion. Thought I'd join up to learn more about my new hobby from the experts.

Don't give up. You're particular hammock can hardly be classified as a camping hammock. There are many hammocks out there that are much more comfortable. You've come to the right place!
