    Hello from a new southerner!

Hi everyone, I have been reading a lot of posts and checking out a lot of youtube videos on MYOG for ultra lighting with a dog. Now before the anti-dog hikers tell me to leave her at home she is a service dog so we wont be harassing you or the wildlife. Anyway, I have been experimenting with insulation incorporated hammocks and with some backpack options. I'll get some pics going soon. I'm a bit of an OCD DIYer so I have really enjoyed this site and look forward to sharing and finding more inspiration.

    Happy Hiking!

Welcome from the Ultra Deep South. We are so far South that most forget about us down here and call you the Deep South.

There are plenty of hiker/dog combos out here and don't worry. Most if not all have been very well behaved hiking partners in group hangs.

Check out Fronkey Vids on Youtube. He hikes with Tala almost everywhere around this great land of ours.

Also, check out trip reports for the Annual Florida Hang. We have had 5 annual hangs and there are dogs at every one. Come on down next year in January and bring yours.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Welcome and don't sweat it. My hiking partner brings along this... beast.

It's the only one capable of keeping up with me.

Welcome to the forums from Northwest Alabama!
Two heads are good, three are great, but all heads at hammockforums is the best case scenario!
