So I was browsing around in this fabric store that had HUGE 40-70% off signs in their windows because they were closing (only that location), and I came across this camo/tan lightweight outerwear fabric, it's intended use was for making coats I think. The insulation is synthetic, and thin, maybe 1/2" thick, but my goal was to make a couple spring/summer UQ's. With the discount, I paid 9.99/yd.
I bought 4 yards of it, cut it down to 46" wide by 70" long, I stitched in a 7/8" grosgrain channel for the shock cord (in the future, I will go bigger, it was a PITA to feed that through that small channel) I then cut a small slit in the middle to have the cord lock and the adjustment come from the center as opposed to the edge. After that I tied a couple figure 8 knots on either end of the shock cord and put on my cord lock.
For the suspension, I did not use loops or channels, instead I just tied a figure 8 around the cinch cord with the 24" shock cord, that seems a bit confusing, here is a pic.....

Basically it does the same thing as loops without using any more grosgrain. And I added a Sbiner to attach to a prussick on my strap suspension.

I still need to finish off the long edge with a rolled hem to clean that up, but it works great, fits great, and is plenty warm for spring/summer hangs.
Also, it comes in at 20.6 oz and compresses down to roughly 7"x7" in a REI lighweight stuff sack.
Then I got bored last night after working on the UQ and decided to make a ridgeline organizer, I've never had one and this now makes me a happy hanger! Just made it from some scraps of netting I had laying around, It already had the channel sewn onto it. It was from a garage door screen, I think I got it from Harbor Freight for the original plan to make a bug net.
