Wanting to go Ultralight with Uncalendered HyperD 1.0

I'm looking to build an ultralight hammock.

I'm interested in the 1.0 HyperD material, uncalendered.

I want to build a 10' by 58" wide hammock with sewn end channels and larks head a continuous loop onto the ends.

All in all, I figure this is kinda an in between ultralight hammock, between a grand trunk nano 7 and a BIAS weight weenie micro

Has anyone had any success with anything similar to this setup?

This is also going to be one of my first sewing projects if I don't have a cottage company do it for me. I'm mostly concerned about the sewn channel stitching, and how that would hold up. Therefore I'm reaching out to see if anyone has any feedback.

    Regards.

I have an 11ft hyperD 1.0 Hammock and it's held up great for me at around 230lbs. Saying that I put a cable tie through the channels and larks headed the continuous loops below to reduce/prevent damage to the sewn channel.

My 11' is 6 oz with loops and sewn end channels in a stuff sack. I've been testing it indoors as my sleeper. End channels sewing is fine looking good. Doesn't include straps in that weight obviously

    That's excellent news!

My rig is really starting to come together in my mind now.

    10' x 58" wide
    Sewn End Channels
    AmSteel Continuous Loops
    Fixed Lash-It Ridgeline
    Cuben Double Sided Stuff Sack
    No See Um Ridgeline Organizer

If that puts me at or under 6oz. I'm happy!

I used Planer Board line for the RL, but no organizer in that weight.

End channels aren't a problem. Just make sure you double over the hem and put in three rows of stitching.

I just finished a 10'6" Hyper D 1.0. With two 6' 5/65" whoopies and 99"-108" ASR made with http://www.westmarine.com/buy/new-en...ne--P012357679, and 6' tree huggers from http://www.harborfreight.com/set-of-...aps-67386.html, random aluminum toggles in a 1.9oz/yd2 stuff sack weighs in at 278 grams.
Hammocking, car camping, backpacking, kayaking, and mountain biking. Getting in touch with nature is getting expensive. Good thing I can DIY!

Does anyone know what the recommended weight limit is on this 1.0 hyper d? I want to go ultralight, but I'm worried about durability. Especially since I am planning on using this hammock for a thru hike.
