    Gcalions,

Hey we're just down the road from one another, I live on Granville St. It would help if you could tell us some more about your planned activities, where you are with your budget and your plans for the future. Inexpensive can get expensive very quickly when you find yourself buying an items that doesn't really fit your needs.

In order of budget, I spend the most on my insulation, next most on my tarp, and least on my hammock. I think this holds true at about any price range.

A tarp with a 10 ft. ridgeline will work with hammocks 10 ft. or shorter. Assuming you have a hammock ridgeline set to 83% of the hammock length, then that will give you approximately 10 inches of coverage on each end (120 x .83 = 99.6, then 120 - 99.6 = 20.4 /2 = 10.2" on each end).

I personally prefer 11 ft. hammocks; therefore, all my tarps have at least an 11 ft. ridgeline.

Here's a thread where the OP thinks tarps with 10 ft. ridgelines are the bomb-diddy-bomb.

Based on my experience with the superfly. I'd recommend the Warbonnet edge.... 85$ plus shipping... I'm looking for one myself for bluebird days....
