He asked: Do we have emergency contact info on everyone? Knock on wood he says. Accidents happen.

On my iPhone under emergency. I have a medical I'd that has all my information including contacts. The best thing about it is it can be accessed from the locked screen. Anyone with an iPhone running ios8. Look in the health app. Also make sure you make it available from the lock screen

Loving how this is shaping up. I'm sure HB and Loki will get caught up once they return from their respective holiday trips. I was lucky to get one great night in the woods with Loki and Michelle the camper. Can't wait to hear how the rest of their weekend was.

I think it would be a great idea if we could list out our given names phone numbers and emergency contact numbers on the thread. Even though we don't have phone service there, we'll need the info if someone gets hurt or lost. Don't want a repeat of PappyAmos's sitiuation with the search and rescue team.

A thread started just as a database on the forums would work for that, but how secure would the information be? As for myself, lets say the worst possible happened (my hammock tries to eat me), I'm unconscious, and my phone is dead. I'm with a group of people that could get me the emergency medical I need right away. I always carry my insurance on me. The emergency medical services call said insurance company for information on me. Insurance company give my employer. Bam! My family contacted. Meanwhile.........

New thread posted, "EVERYONE! STUBBY WAS MAULED BY HIS HAMMOCK!" I have at least one friend on this forum that would see that, and make sure my employer knows I will be out from work. Bam! My family contacted again.

Good point from Stubby about having our personal info in an online data base. Don't we all carry drivers licenses with real names and addresses?

Tried that once. It was confusing .
