I don't have any pics right now but I took an 8.5 X 8.5 Guide Gear tarp and cut two opposing corners off and made a hex. Works good enough for me, although I wouldn't want to weather a hurricane under it.

I have a Claytor Diamond Fly(CDF), which has a length of 13' and a width of 11'. It's dimensions are pretty close to your tarp. I love it for a summer tarp, but only as a summer tarp because some times the ends of my hammock have gotten wet. I use my Super Fly in winter or if the trip's forecast is bad. My CDF is my go to tarp because it so simple to set up with only 2 stakes. The only way to know is to test.

When my second hand WBBB xlc shows up I am going to try it with my bcusa 10x10. It has 16 perimeter tie outs and 3 ridge line tie outs. I've spent a few summer nights in a Walmart hammock under a 8x10 Walmart poly tarp pitched in an a frame. I done alright in one pouring rain, not blowing though. I am wondering if the a frame pitch will work with the new tarp/hammock combo. In a diamond it will have over a 14 ft ridge line but sacrifice side coverage. I am really looking forward to playing with this new setup even though it isn't a superfly lol
