UPDATE:
BLUF (TL;DR):
Great weight, excellent feel, terrific fabric with juuuusssttt the right amount of stretch, but slightly too Narrow for me.
This trip was a hunting trip in george Washington national forest. All backcountry travel, no trails except the game trail ontop of the Ridge we were working. 3 days and 2 nights using this hammock in clear weather dropping to about 32 degrees at night. I still maintain the feel and strength of the hammock is absolutely perfect. It's only flaw for me is the width. I'm 6'2 and 245 lbs and broad across the shoulders. I could lay on a diagonal comfortably for an hour or so at a time, but eventually my shoulder would come out (along with my quilt) or my feet would pop off the end. The hammock is great, and I love it, I just wish it was available in 72" wide rolls.
I've ordered some 1.6 argon from Dutch and plan to put an "expansion panel" where my right shoulder is and one where my feet would be to get some extra width without adding too much weight. I always sleep with my feet to the left of my head, so only adding panels in those locations is optimal for me. I'll try and update y'all whenever I do add the panels and report on their success. If it fails, I'll probably just order 4 yards of 72" 1.6 nylon from RBTR to make a wider hammock. But I just love that argon material so much I'd hate to resort to that.
