Hey guys I am putting together an Under Quilt and wondering what would be a good size of shock cord to hang it by?
Thanks

1/8 is pretty standard for quilts and is all I use. You could go smaller if it was a light quilt I guess.
This is from Dutch's website: "For quilts 3/32nd is for light quilts, 1/8th is for winter quilts. 1/16th is not strong enough for quilt suspension."
I like to get mine from Paracord planet so that I can get a cool color to match the quilt.
Thanks. This will be a full size 3 season UQ. I am 6' so it will be about 75"Lx 45"W and filling with duck down.
+1 for Paracord Planet. They offer free shipping for Amazon prime members. Tons of colors. 1/8 works well for my heavy winter quilt. I ordered 1/8 shock cord from Ripstop By the Roll (awesome vendor) but it was too springy to keep my UQ high and tight
Ripstopbytheroll has a good price for 25' hanks also.
